Som-O and Chadjen were close from childhood on. They shared a house, rode the bus together, and studied in the same room. Chadjen’s father dies one day, and Chadjen’s mother remarries and moves to France. Chadjen ends up living with Sam-O’s family because he doesn’t want to move with her.
The two join a new group of friends when they start high school, which includes New, Khao, and swimmer Tao. New and Khao, a kind couple, are always there to support and counsel Sam-O in matters of love. The group endures hardships together, forming a bonded group, regardless of their academic or extracurricular pursuits.
After a number of years, everyone has spread out among the various faculties of the same university.
